Anyone ever use the large or small polishing ball? I'm considering getting it to use on my factory wheels. I use Zaino Polish but it takes FOREVER to get iinto all the nooks and crannies.

I used the small one on my stock wheels. Yep, it's a PITA no matter what you use. Even the small wheel will not get into the center end of the slots. Reason #2 to replace those wheels. I put some RX-8 wheels on mine. WAY easier to clean with just a wash mitt.

im not really sure what your polishing with that. the polish ball really isnt for Clearcoated alloy wheels.

Its for uncoated polished aluminum, and is used in combination with a metal polish.

can't you use it on the car's clear coat? Because it comes with car wax... i think its a multi-purpose polishing ball.

mothers makes 2

the powerball for wheels (red) and the yellow one which is meant for paint. which personally i wouldnt use, and probably has no real correction properties... The red one is good for what it does (polishing aluminum) but the yellow one really has no credit in the detailing community.

i use a DRY paper towel and my finger. i have the large and small red ball, and the yellow ball. the finger works best, really, plus try to pick your nose with the ball!!

Somehow I don't like the idea of putting a drill near my car's paint/wheels. Maybe that's just me.

Thanks for all the feedback.
