Most Miles In the Shortest Amount Of Time...

I was just wondering if ONLY I drive so much... i got my P5 BRAND NEW with a 100 miles on my car (the owner of the dealership drove it around, so i got free tints). i've had my P5 since march the 22nd and this 22nd will be 10 months... I ALREADY HAVE 17,300+ miles on my car already... i was wonderin if I drive ABNORMALLY to much??? did anyone have this many miles in a 10 month period or does anyone have MORE MILES in a shorter amount of time????

I personally have only put 3000 miles on my car in 2 months from yesterday. My brother has a VW Jetta that had 40000 miles. He bought it in March of 2001 and he has 100000 miles on it now.

(laugh) Nothing! I bought my car August 2001, and had ober 42,000 Mi the same time in 2002. I had my engine overhauled in September, and already have over 11,000 mi on the newly overhauled engine.

I bought my car in June 2002 (it had 46 miles on it) and it now sits at 14,929. I drive an hour to and from work each day so the miles rack up awfully quick but it's all good since it's is a P5 and I have mobile video to watch and Xm to listen to.

Hell yeah!! I feel ya on this. I drive about 45 minutes (50 miles) each way to work 4 times a week. I too have the Mobile Video. I now am contemplating XM, but it is not much of a priority until the exhaust upgrade.

I am just the opposite of just about everyone on this forum. I am not into the whole speed scene and bumping up my HP. I am not bashing anyone, I am just more into doing things to complement the overall look of the car (not that it needs much since the P5 is the shiznit) and my stereo setup. Oh and by the way, XM does rule!!!

Yeah I got my MP3 in october 2001 and I'm a couple hundred over 30K. Just put my third set of tires on.

ha ha, in 4 months time I have put 8,000 miles on it. I have a 70 mile round trip commute 5 days a week I'll be taking it on it's first extended trip down south to LA in the middle of February.

And XM does rule. I LOVE my XM radio.

I bought my car w/ about 40 miles on it on may, 31 2k2. I have 16,230 miles on it as of today. I dont really commute that much regularly, but that includes a round-trip drive from NJ to Los Angeles, and a few trips to my school in Central NY. I guess I'm not the only one who's been racking up miles like crazy...this car is too damn fun to drive.

bought my 6 end of nov. it's been a month and not even 2 weeks i have 4900 miles


on my civic si (previous car) purchased 9-99 and had almost 70,000 miles on it...my liscense was suspended for 6 months..if it wasn't i'd be pushing 80,000+ in 3 yrs.

work to home was 8 miles each way ...yeah i drive alot

i dont think i have enough miles unfortuneatly cause IF I HAD MY DAMN CAR I COULd DRIVE, damn dealership cant mail out there parts!!!! i bought mine in june and i have about 12K mi! i dont know if thats alot or not enough. this summer i KNOW i will be racking up the miles! hehehehe, i cant wait........

Geez I've had my car for 5 months and I only have 2,700 miles on it.

Don't worry about your car having high mileage believe me. I bought a truck and had it for a year, it only had 5,000 when I went to sell it and I didn't get anymore money for it. They give you the same whether it has 2,000 or 20,000.

my next door neighbor had his PT for almost 2 years and only has 2,000+ miles on it!!!! AMAZING!!!
