More sound deadening in a 2022-2023 CX-9 Signature?

Hello all.
I’m currently shopping for a 2022-2023 Cx9. We originally were only looking at the Grand Touring but have recently test drove a Signature. Am I imagining things that the Signature is quieter in the interior than a same model year Grand Touring?

Did they install more sound deadening or different glass?

Thanks all,
John

Thanks guys…. I’ll make sure to pay attention to which tires are on the CX-9’s I test drive.
I’ve noticed that a good portion of the low mileage cars I’ve driven have the Falken Ziex tires. I’m assuming these may have been factory tires.

Thanks again
John

Yea with used you donno what you are getting as they are probably worn. OEM tires are noisy even at 50%. But Mazda didn't add any additional spud. Dampening between the models. 2019 and up are the same I believe.

These tires are the biggest POS. Stay away. Prone to significant vibrations and flat spots etc.

There's no sound deadening inside of the doors skins. You may want to add some Dynamat type stuff.
