
Ok, lets start off...the knob looks soooo ******* awesome imo. It shortens the throw by about <1/2 in because the knob is shorter than stock, and feels so smooth and good in my hand (upbum). so then, the stock boot sucks (need to get a momo) and the plastic ring sticks out farther than the knobs bottom, which kinda sucks...so then you got about 1/2 in between the ring and the bottom of the knob, which was a certain no-no for me. so i busted out the WD-40 and a hacksaw, and took all of the threaded portion of the shifter off (except about 4 threads at the bottom). I then put the knob on and screwed on the bottom portion, overall i would say shortening the shifter by 1-1.25 inches. anyways, ill have pics first thing tommorrow when it gets light out for everyone to see the badness!
