What exactly does that mean?I can vouch that the 2.5 is as tight as the 2.0 because I've owned both and still have the 2.5.
Paris,What exactly does that mean?
.If the 2.5L motor is as tight as my 2.0L, the level won't budge through the entire service interval and it can just be filled to mid-range.
This explains Mazda's 4.8 quart capacity spec. (they probably consider "full" half-way between the "low" and "high" marks).
Mazda of Lakewood?
I've had nothing but problems with them. When I asked the exact same question they told me they didn't even stock the moly. So, pretty much goes with what I've come to learn of them. Lol, they told me in order for my seat heaters to work I had to have the temp cranked all the way up and the fan on full blast. Seriously not even kidding.
I did buy from them. Unfortunately.
Believe it or not they "forgot" to tell us our car was ready for pick up the day after our purchase. One cluster after another. A smart ass service guy was the last straw.
So, I take it to Sill-Terhar. They are ok so far. Good luck with Lakewood. I'll never go back.

FWIW someone else posted on the heated seat thread today that one needs to turn the heat on the HVAC on high in order for the seat warmers to work. I'm already done driving for the day. Perhaps it's worth a shot to test this theory!
