Moisture inside my headlight lens

OK, I am throughly annoyed now that my passenger side head light has serious condensation on the inside of it. I was out driving in heavy rain w/flooding Saturday and I just noticed the lens is full of water. Also my left turn signal is flashing very fast......wtf

Anyone else ever have this issue

thnx

check the front and rear blinkers, probably a burned out bulb in one or the other.

with the condensation, thats a warrantyable claim, if you still have one. otherwise, it'll need pulled apart and resealed.

warranty still in effect

Thankfully I still have the warranty in effect till 4/10.....its the aggravation factor that is the killer, laying up the car for a day hoping the work is done properly by some tech...nothing comps you for the "ag factor" thats the killer

good to hear, and yeah, i hear ya about having to lose the car for a day. my dealer is pretty good about loaners, has been helpful the couple times they needed to order parts.

I also have condensation in my headlights (200 cx-7 GT AWD). And a dead fly in my drivers side rear. WTF!

I thought I could just pop off the casing and flick it out, but there's a gray plastic peice there when you open the rear gate...

I had the same issue but I put after market hids and I started to see condensation I ended up buying depo aftermarket headlight for my 2010 cx 7

Does anyone know what the cause of this condensation is?

I believe there is a TSB, but my dealer says it's not covered under warranty (which, in my case is expired anyways). I was wondering if anyone knows the cause and then I may be able to fix it without replacing the entire headlight.

it's a bad seal from when it was made. You can get 100%clear silicon and run a bead around the headlight where the lens meets the housing. To remove the condensation. remove the rubber housing or cover from the back of the headlight, park the car in the sun on a low humitity day to allow the sun to evap the moisture. To help speed it along you can start your car, turn on the headlights and let the heat from the bulb bake it off.

I have the same problem........right now there is no condensation due to our summer heat but when I had the dealer take look at it, the 100k warranty I have denied it. I have the HID's (GT model) and its like a $1500 job.

I thought I have seen a TSB regarding this somewhere.
