mods deleted it already... the thread starter posted pics of his mam pipe... guy #2 comes in and hes like ahhh damn i was so excited bout my pipe...but i knew something was wrong... guy #2 looks at thread starters pipe pics and realizes his bungs in the wrong place... guy #2 says dammmit!!!! and then guy #2 gets yelled at by a mod for posting and not talking to MAM first...

so what?!? i'd rather know bout mishaps, then never know bout them... i kno mam's hot s*** so it doesnt alter my thots bout them,,, but this mod stuff is ridiculous

the dood even apologized and the mod removed it:

tviera has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Look what came in UPS!! - in the Mental Addiction Motorsports forum of Mazda Forums.

Here is the message that has just been posted:

I recieved it today, installed it today , and posted in this thread today. If you don't think that I was excited as a parolee in a ***** house, you are mistaken. I installed it without knowing that it was flawed. i just thought that it was a little more difficult than others had lead readers to believe. It wasn't untill I saw this thread, after I cleaned up after the install and before a shower, that I saw a nice close up off the same product. As you can see they are different. You may edit or remove my post or even ban me. There is nothing I can do about that and I'm sorry if you feel I'm out to slam MAM or Beau. I'm currently waiting for a reply from him and I know they will make it right. I also appologize for the threadjack, I didn't realize I did that. I just saw his pics and started typing.

s*** happens...and I didn't get to see the pictures, but it could have been something as simple as someone accidentally welding the hangers on the wrong side.

At the bottom of every section's thread listing is a moderator listing. For the MAM section, the following people are mods: 505zoom, RyanJayG, Mental Addiction. Speak to them.

Let's get something straight here. When someone has a problem with a product, they can handle it in one of two ways.

1) They can go make a post IN ANOTHER PERSONS THREAD, bitching about it and saying that they will never buy from that vendor again.

2) They can contact the company that made the mistake and try to get it resolved.

When somebody chooses #1 as the first thing they do, then they are not only making the company that made the mistake look bad, they are also making themselves look bad. Everybody makes mistakes skilletrx, and if you don't give the people who made the mistake a chance to resolve it before you go and post stuff like "I will never buy from them again", then you are not helping anyone.

I sent tviera a PM saying that he would be taken care of in whatever way he feels would be best for him. If he wants a replacement pipe, then he will get it. If he doesn't want a replacement, then he will get a discount on anything else that he ever orders. Aside from that, his posts in blue_speed's thread were not needed and not in the proper place. If you think that is being a nazi mod, then that is your perogative. Linux gave him a warning, then I saw the posts and sent him a PM, then removed the posts.

There is a lot of un-needed vendor bashing here, and IMO, it is going to make it so there is no aftermarket for us at all if it doesn't get resolved. The problem isn't the moderators and/or the staff here at this forum, it is the mindset of all the consumers who feel that this place is where you go to bash people that they buy parts from. People make mistakes, and most of the time if given a chance the vendors here will resolve them quickly and fairly. That goes ESPECIALLY for Beau at Mental Addiction. He will resolve issues and knows that they can and do happen.

ANYONE who goes into the Mental Addiction section and is complaining, without first taking the steps to try and get the problem resolved, will be sent a PM and their posts will be removed by me. If someone has an issue with a part and needs resolution, then they can call Beau, they can PM Beau, or they can PM me or one of the other sponsors. There is no need to go crying about the problem to everyone else that can't do anything about it. If the problem goes without resolution, then yes, the rest of the forum should be told of the situation... but if you don't give the vendor a chance to fix their mistake before alerting everyone, then that is just not fair in my eyes.

i think it was linux that handled it but i might be wrong

Yes, I initially saw it. What do you hope to accomplish my making threads like this? If you want to know why I said what I said in the thread, go read here: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108660&page=1&pp=15

We are about solutions on this forum, not bitching when you haven't explored the right avenues of resolution first. If you are questioning the maturity of the leadership around here, just read that thread I posted a link to.

heres the deal.. my bad, i didnt focus or really see into his post about..; never buying MAM again, i guess i was looking at the his pipe... ahhh i talked to zoom already i cant retype everything lol

It's all good man. It's all about community man. On that note, issue resolved. I will now use my "nazi powers" to close this thread.
