Mod Ideas

Heya, I am thinking about some cosmetic mods for my new P5, tell me what you think:

Smoked or carbon fiber headlamps
smoked side lamps
smoked or carbon fiber tailights with an LED mod
70% window tint (all that is legal here)
red Mazda logo embroidered on seats
possibly a black headliner to replace the factory beige

Car is bright red with black leather.

I just can't seem to find and carbon fiber or smoked tail lamps anywhere for the P5, all I can find are Altezzas, which isn't the look I want.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how this would look, or suggestions where I could get this stuff?

I don't want to look rice, just sharp and a little different from stock. I like the factory wheels, and do not want to lower the car or add larger rims.

Get JDM tails from corksport. Those look hot on a red protege5.

Hmm, those aren't bad looking, but not really what I am going for.

I really want a look similar to what was on Maximas a couple years back, where there is a translucent cover, and then black underneath other than the lights (which will be LEDs)

Also, I am interested in the Hella Black Magic foglights. Actually, any smoked foglights would work, these are just the ones I am familiar with. If anyone knows of others that would work that would be great too.

side lamps are the side marker lights. You might be able to replace them with aftermarket motorcycle blinkers Lockhart Philips. not sure if they'll be big enough hadn't thought about that before now. If not I think they still sell that sprayon window tint. That should work but I'd take them off before you sprayed them

carbon fiber headlamps could be made by taking the headlights apart and pulling a mould from the bezel and the making the bezel out of carbon fiber. To smoke them just get some window tint and apply it. Or use the sprayon window tint and either tint the clear plastic lens or on the bezel which would give it a black chrome look.

the LED mod is probably not a problem either. They already make LED replacement for normal bulbs (seen them in catalogs and at motorcycle shop) whether they make a replacement for the bulbs in our cars I'm not sure.
