Hey man it doesn't matter -- you don't have to be a "modder" to show up. My car is utterly bone stock for now (until I get the ECU flash - then my mods will start). But it doesn't matter -- we need some proteges there regardless! I know there will be 1 slightly modded green ES there and myself in my bone stock MSP and possible Emode in his modded MSP. There is an autocross going on all day there on Sunday so you could come and test the limits of your P5. The Proteges (all variants) are great for auto-xing so it'll be a blast.

Regardless of who is coming I'm going to be there. Then there's 2 more auto-xes left at Miller Park for the year so if you can't make it to this one come to the other ones.

We could do another sort of meet on a different day - just suggest a day. It'd be hard for me to make it down to the Milwaukee area (I'm in central WI right now) on a lot of occasions but who knows. PLUS "WEST" NEEDS TO SELL ME HIS DAMN TIRES!:p

why dont u people come down on the 27th for a bbq near gurnee..in illinois on the 27th...not to far from milawaukee...only about 30 min

I wanna go to the Auto X event but, I dont know what I need to do in order to run?

Help me out and I will try extra hard to get there.

It's super easy smithers; the hardest part for you (and me) is to get there in time to "check in," which is between 7:45am and 8:30am. Basically you just show up between them times and follow the group of people. You sign up, pay them $30 (or so) and then they have a short meeting to go over some saftey rules, then we all just walk the course to get a feel for it, then you wait your turn to "race". The only other thing you need is a snell 90 helmet but if you don't have 1 they have some you can use for free (or you can use mine if we end up meeting).

Sounds like a plan. That means I have to wake up earily. Oh well fun only comes at a price. I should be interesting to watch being my first autocross event.

Do I have to take out my floor mats? Should I bring an air tank? Does it cost anything for spectators? What if they want to ride along?

How many people show up to these events? How many runs does one get?

Thanks
