If it will will be possible to use without major difference with my BEGI turbo kit then I am in but posibly not immediatly. I will need a few months to generate the cash.
However If possible on my car I can be counted as a definite.

Yeah. Terry, will it work for us? I am fairly sure it will with a little reprogramming since we have different turbos and intercoolers. Right or wrong?

Terry, without forged internals is the full management system usefull for say even 250 whp or do the rods and piston have to go before that power can be safely achived?

Yes it is, however I am being completely realistic here saying this but nobody for sure really knows how long the motor will really last over time with these power levels.
Our goal is to make 300whp with this computer and stock internals. Will this shorten the life of the motor?
I am sure it will. But one with this ecu could drive 8-10 psi daily worry free:D

How are you going to creat maps for us in the colder areas that driving in -10 degree weather is not uncommon in the winter?

Is this the same Link system that Flyin Miata uses on their cars? Will I lose any functionality of the stock ECU and its controls?

The maps will range from 20-100 degrees.
However numerical values will be entered in extreme temps that will be very conservative. The computer has an autotune feature as well that will auto tune to keep a minimum a/f ratio.
So what I am saying here is temps like -20 degrees will not be tuned for all out power but rather saftey since we can never expereince or similate the conditions in Florida or Virginia

Ok this is NOTHING like the link.
However it is a replacement computer.............this means the stock computer will not even be in the car. It will be completely replaced and have control over nothing.
The microtech will control all.
Thus having no interference with the stock ecu

SOunds like you have a northern bond trip to make this winter (thumb)

Last question, please help the ignorant Microtech deprived. So this unit will control everything when the stock ECU comes out like EGR, OBD II codes (no cel), power windows, door locks, ect. Maybe similar to the Hondata stuff which has a removable chip? Will you also sell the software? I have access to a burner.

Just a little info on the microtech for you guys...

http://www.br7racing.com/mtprodmain.html

Several of the Rx7 people have been using them with great success for quite sometime.. They are simplier and cheaper than a Haltech and other standalone systems...

However, like any standalone... Don't really as about emissions OBD-II etc etc etc....
