Yeah, I think we should be able to get together for a test ride. I live in Dearborn Heights and work in Plymouth, so it shouldn't be too difficult. You can buy me lunch or something. (thumb)

A good portion of the route has been "repaved" in typical redneck/cheap-ass fashion: spray tar on the road and then dump a bunch of pea gravel on it.

Damn, your side skirts must look like hell. After 28,000 miles, mine are pretty bad. However, I probably still would have been pissed off driving on a road like that. To the person who "invented" that type of road treatment: (chair)

It was nice to meet you guys/ girls, I had a great time, I cant wait for the next drive. I hope that we can do it a few more times b4 the weather turns crap. I am down for Kart 2 Kart just say the word, btw can any of you guys help me get started in Solo2? I would like to go with someone thats done it before to help get me started. Jonlong are you going to run your car Solo any time soon? I live in Canton so Im not too far away from you.

I just saw this today. I am by no means a veteran either, but I've been to quite a few in the last 2 years. The next Detriot region event is next Sunday the 24th. You should register early on www.myautoevents.com to save some money if you know you want to go.

I'm going on a canoe trip up north and won't be back until mid-Sunday so I'll miss this event, but I'll probably swing by late since I have some buddies running.

There may be other events closer to you. You can scan through the my auto events web site to see whats up.
