Met an MP3 owner today, hopefully recruited him.

Hey all. On my way to work today I saw a kick-ass yellow mp3 in a parking lot and pulled in to talk to the guy. I told him about my MSP and this forum and hopefully he'll join up. He wants to talk to those who have put a turbo on their mp3's or P5's.
It appeared that he had a CF hood, modified headlights and a triple-gauge pillar pod. It was riding damn low and he said he had Racing Beat lowering springs on it. He also said he has an aftermarket exhaust, NOS, a kick ass stereo and 18's to go on it as soon as the new tires for them arrive. The window tint on this car was insane. Supposedly it's two layers of limo and a layer of 15, with 15% mirror on the windshield. Overall the car looked awesome. I hope this guy joins up with us. Keep an eye out for a fellow named Rocky from the Chattanooga area.

I don't know. I'd never do it myself. Years ago I had a (*cough) Mustang GT that had double limo on it. I couldn't see to turn at night and wound up stripping it off after getting a ticket for the tint. The cop actually had a meter to measure light transmission. I'll never forget him double checking the meter, looking at me and saying "Son, you're 2.5 % away from having cardboard in your windows, how the hell do you see?". It was great in the summer though. It was a white car, and on a 95 deg. day it would stay nice and cool inside even after a couple of hours in the sun. That, and I could put the sun shade in the windshield and bang my girlfriend parked right in front of the mall or grocery store. Nothing like getting busy while people are standing next to the car checking it out. Quite a thrill!

ya, i met that guy rocky with the yellow mp3 too. i think he told me that he had gotten on here before tho.
real cool guy, he works at the carwash on gunbarrel road. every time i ride over there to talk to him he is never there. he does have a vis c/f hood, i've been wanting to see what his looks like.
