Megan Racing Carbon Fiber

Hey All, anyone have the megan racing M-Spec II muffler? Like the carbon fiber look, and the dual silencer, just wondering about fitment issues or if anyone has them installed....pics? Thanks!

i don't like it just my opinion... look at this though i love these (Vibrant Flat black muffler) Sounds great like almost all vibrants

yea those r str8...what i really want is the HKS Carbon Ti, but the Megan Racing looks exactly the same and more than 50% less $$...so i might go with the meganracing...Protegegarage doesnt have any universal mufflers? ive bought from u guys alot!

Just as an FYI if you do get this muffler, I have Tsubo Carbon muffler on my car and whether it's the way it was installed or not, it just doesn't fit that well...make sure if you do get this that the install is done properly otherwise you'll be dissapointed like myself and looking to make a switch to something different

ouch, really? do you know the dimensions (size) of the muffler you got or where I can see it? I noticed this muffler was pretty big but i was thinkin about havin it installed pointing to the side..did you get your installed at a pro muffler shop?

nevermind, i found ur muffler, and it is alot bigger than the megan racing...what was the exact fitment issue you were having???
Megan racing is:20" long, 6" width, 4" FLAT tip, 5" long on tip and 2.4" inlet
Tsudo is: well, its in the pic...

That muffler should fit fine. I have one of similar dimensions on my 01 lx and i havent had any clearance problems with the muffler.Other fitment issues were probably the piping, as it is most likely larger than stock, therefore rubbing on stuff. My piping rubs, but only when there is a lot of weight in the back. Good luck and hope you are happy with whatever it is you choose.

Thanks man, Yea looks like IM gonna go with the megan racing carbon m-spec...found it online for 105$ so not bad...ill post pics ...any other opinions still cool, or if anyone has this already, holla

i have it but its not installed yet. i'll be making a custom 3in axle back to bolt up to my corksport exhaust. ima put it on the tilt!

oh yea make sure you get the turbo version of this muffler its the same but has a 2.9in inlet. u'll screw ur self over with the 2.4 in. it will sound very ricey.

oh s***..for real? my exhaust setup is 2.5" all the way from the downpipe to axleback 2.5".....wouldnt it have to be the same as my piping?
DP ----2.5"---axleback--2.5"---muffler 2.9"???

thats how mine is they have and adpater at any exhaust shop to expand the pipe.

oh yea? true that....so the turbo one huh? youve heard the other one or you just assume that it will sound wack because of the inlet size?

oooh, i see...sound clip would be cool...im gonna have the 2.5" apexi downpipe with 1 highflo cat, 2.5" custom ss catback with this muffler....cant sound that bad..

the cat will help with the tone alot.i run catless and it can be a lil buzzy. i'll work on the vid.
