Mechanic Recommendation?

Hello,

I'm looking for a mechanic to repair head gasket or possible engine transplant in my MX6...Lower Mainland or Nanaimo. My regular guy is swamped with work and doesn't want the job. Also, has anyone purchased a used engine from these Japanese import places? I'm thinking about spending the extra dollars to install a KLZE.

Any info or advice greatly appreciated.

where are you located? If you're on the island I can suggest a great mechanic, but if you have to jump the strait to get here then its probably not worth the $$
