Mazdaspeed3 Front Bumper

Does any one knows where I can get a MS3 front bumper other than the dealer? Dealer quoted me $458.90 just for the bumper, which high to me. I've looked online, but I really can't seem to find anything.

Yea, partshotlines.com also works well -- if you search mazda 3, it will then show parts for both the MS3 and Mz3.

Is the MS3 bumper the same as the Mazda 3's bumper?

the fact that in the fitment notes it lists the speed 3 and the sedan for the same part, I would say it won't fit

God these bumpers aren't cheap!! Just got another quote for $480.00! I guess I guess I'll see if going aftermarket might not be cheaper.

For some reason I didn't see that link you posted earlier, but I already had gone and checked out onlinemazdaparts and found it for $355.00.

IMO the Corksport bumpers are hideous, and the Autoexe is too damn expensive.

Sorry John, but that bumper has some dents in it I'm a little picky. Plus the place I'm going to have it painted at charges an extra $125.00 to strip the paint. I wonder if that's a little steep for paint stripping.

wouldnt you be able to pay the 125 and bring it to an autobody and get that fixed for like....100 bucks? its only a scuff and a big dent that will more than likely be able to be pulled out without any problem. idk....just a thought. i have a guy who does my dents and scratches for like 40-50 bucks a pop. i think thats just about the going rate anyway....???

Yea, I could, but then after purchasing it, paying $59.50 for shipping, getting it stripped, and paying someone $100 to get the dents out of it, I'd be at $443.00. And you never know, there could be some other things wrong that the seller "failed" to point out.

My front bumper isn't really bad or anything, but the prvious owner must have run over a curb, then pulled away. There are some broken tabs/clips and there are paint creases as well. Its more of an irritant for me, rather than an eyesore.

i heard you. ive done that with mine trying to pul onto ramps. made some nice divits in the bumper.

why dont you keep the bumoper and cover up your irritant with the dg style lip then? if its just the bottom you could easily cover it up with a lip. i was oing to do that but id rather burn the cash on performance. i may try to homedeopt lip to do the deed for cheap

The creased paint is on either side of the bumper - part of the wheel well. That is also where the broken clips are, so the fitment is sub-par. Most of the buckling/creasing occurred in those two places unfortunately.

I've done all the power mods I want to do for right now, so I'm paying the cosmetic side a little attention now.

I'm in the same boat. Ran into a piece of ice over the winter putting a dent and ripping the plastic. The only reason I haven't fixed it is due to the cost of a new bumper cover. (I make sure to squint when I look at the car so it is less noticeable.) The best price I have found is around 350.

And found front bumper cover for $199.
I assume this is for an unpainted bumper cover?
Anyone knows how much they are supposed to charge me for the paint job on average?
