I don't think the Ranger crank is going to work with this engine it is completely different than the regular 2.3 found in the focus and other mazdas.

The amount is $475 whoever sends the money first is the one who shall receive the block. I've been getting the runaround from a bunch of people about this, so I'm not sure who really wants it. Also the money needs to be received today as the block needs to be shipped by end of day today, because after that I'm out of town on business for a good three weeks. So tiny1 if you want it please paypal the money asap, if not staples can.

I don't know why nobody bought the block 3 weeks ago. I will give him first crack at it, but for what it's worth it's a steal of a price. You're not going to find a block like this for the same price nor cheaper. You could build the bottom end for about a total of 2000 grand.
