Mazdaspeed wheels

I'm looking for lighter wheels for my MSP3; does Mazda make such wheels, either through their Mazdaspeed division or other? I haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks.

works for me too.

There are several Mazdaspeed wheels that will work with the MS3. There are a couple of choices in 7.5" wide (.5" wider than stock) and one for the RX8 that will work on our cars that is 8".

There is a set for sale on ebay right now, ends in a day or so. They are slightly expensive, but they are Rays engineered and use our stock lug nuts, vs. having to buy a set of skinny tuner lugs.

Actually not a bad price considering that it includes the tires.

u can always go with volks (thumb)

I thought that mazdaspeed offered the 16.7lb Rays with the Mazdaspeed logo cast and are offered from vendors for about 450$. in comparison the oem mazdaspeed 3 wheels are about 25lbs from most reports. and to replace by mazda are in the same price range. I tried to order the Rays from the factory installed. But no.

Are there any vendors that can do better than the list price for these wheels? I paid less than that for chrome doublespokes for my Vette...

Thanks.

I recently bought some Kosei (Tire Rack) wheels on closeout for $200 per wheel, shipped. They are 5 spoke, 18 lbs, 18x7.5, and not forged, but are between standard cast and forged strength-wise. I considered paying the extra tab for the forged wheels, but in the end didn't want to double my outlay.

I had no luck finding a much better price on them. So chose Tenzo DC-5 bronze, nicely priced packages from Element Wheels. I am saving for Works Emotion XD9. Very strong and light. I also was able to get nitto555s. Tenzo looks very good to me, but a little heavy and a bit soft. The stock wheels have a width of 7" the Tenzo are 8" and not sure about the Rays. Ask Element to put something together for you.
