What wheels are you guys running
Thinking about purchasing a set of the gen 1 wheels , or the gen 2 wheels mazdaspeed

Any pictures of your 5 would be helpful

You will quickly find that yes, lots of people use ms3 or rx8 wheels.

What year 5 are you running?

I find the first gen looks good with RX8 or first Gen MS3 rims.

The 2nd Gen 5 looks good with the 2nd Gen MS3 rims. $600 is a bit steep for 1st gen MS3 rims.

I paid $300 for my second gen MS3 wheels, 3 have light curb rash, one was poorly repaired. There's a guy on MazdasNW selling curb rashed genpu wheels with TPMS for $450.

I agree. The 2nd Gen Mazda 5 GT wheels look similar to the 2nd Gen MzSpeed 3 wheels however they are 17" as opposed to 18".

RX8 rims are lighter (torqueless monster) and if you have monies, seek out the genpu RX8 rims. Looks almost identical to the 2nd Gen MS3 but are 19", light, rare, and cost a small fraction of the car. But hey, you can say you are riding on something very special.

I believe the RX8 R3 wheels are the uber light 16lb 19"s. There was a set on the marketplace for $1500, don't know if they're still for sale.

WOW. That is a fantastic find, with DWS and (assuming) TPMS @ $1K! Damn it. Local too (sort of). My non responsible side says yes yes yes but damn it.. 19s on a DD Mz5 with possibly COs?... The wify and kids will not approve.

Can 225/40/19 even fit?... Send guy PM. I have a feeling they are sold.

Seller has stock R3 Recaro seats up for sale too! North Jersey has a lot of money -just throwing it out there for anyone else interested.
