Mazdaspeed RX8 Shift Knob?

Yeah for sure. Where did you find that at?? I completely disregarded the shift knob when I seen it because I could have sworn the RX8's have a different shift pattern but obviously yours doesn't.

Maybe it's a Mazdaspeed RX-8 thing? I have driven an RX-8 and I don't remember the same shift pattern. I also talked to a guy that owns an RX-8 and he was surprised with my shift pattern.

This was my first mod
After my RX8 got totalled, I kept the shift know and indeed I'd like to know how you got this pattern since the reverse in the RX8 is next to the 6th gear unlike ours.

My MS3 knob is collecting dust and no way I am going back to it. The RX8 knob is much nicer and has great ergonomics.

And I thought I was the "only one" with this mod. lol

Honestly I think after looking at the knob, the closest thing to the RX8 knob's width is the Big Type R by TWM.

I believe that the shift pattern is different on the 2009 RX8 than the rest of the years. I looked at some of the online dealer photos of the 2009 RX8 and their shift knob pattern is exactly like mine.

Shhhhhhhhhsss. Don't tell anybody this, but I bought this on Craiglist locally for $30.

I'm liking this knob as well.
I like the fact that it's larger, and it has leather on it with red stitching.
I like the leather for more grip and I don't really care for straight metal knobs.
Time to do some shopping!

Nor did I on Ebay. Best souce might be a place that parts out salvage wrecks of Mazdas, such as the guys at partsgroup.com or something.
