It is a normally aspirated 2 liter rally engine. It is nearly identical to the World Challenge cars with a different intake cam and manifold for more torque. Many other parts are derived from the MS Pro.

It is not a SRT4, that car has the body kit to look like it but it is actually a R/T. I will have to find the resource again but the yellow Neon rally car is not the SRT4. The red ine is the actual SRT4 to my knowledge.

Chris Whiteman's yellow Neon is an SXT...a 2 liter non-turbo rally engine built for Group 2 Class. Group 2 is an open class for 2 liter 2wd cars. Anything goes except nitrous and forced induction. We are running about 13.5 to 1 in our Protege and getting around 220hp.

The white Neons are running in Group 5 where they allow turbos and such. The cool thing is that Chris and I are leading the 2wd overall Championship with our less powerful N/A cars. I am in 1st and Chris is in 2nd.
