i've read that they never made MSP5, yet i saw one with the emblem on the back, so, verdict please?

It was a beat down junker. The badge was certainly a joke. Plus, have you ever seen the engine compartment on a Festiva? There's no way a V8 of that size could cram in there. I bet you could rig one up in the rear end though.

they did NOT make a mazdaspeed protege5... that thing doesn't even have a turbo non the less... all it has is a noise making cold air intake

Yup...looks like it may have a Magnoflow exhaust in addition to the intake along with the reverse cowl (RC) carbon fiber hood. It is also lowered and may have had other things done as well (regarding the su.com sticker).

But also keep in mind that Mazdaspeed is not just a particular type of car it is a performance brand within Mazda.

seems like a good buy too, im gonna drive by this weekend and hopefully drive it, get a carfax report and get some other eyes to look it over.

Yeah, we've got a guy over in the KY section that has a '90 Miata with an LS6 V8...it's pretty awesome. Check it out.
