MazdaSpeed Fitement On a 2 G MX-6 (Lip)

sup guys, I was just wondering if anyone has ever fitted a Mazdaspeed lip on a A-spec MX-6 before there seems to be a small gap on each side. Its not a huge deal . I knew this would be a problem as the A-spec and J-spec (which the lip was intended for) are slightly different. Anyways here are a couple of pictures, I think the final install should look pretty good. You will notice (I did) how my Honda SI spoiler in the back look s a hell of a lot more liek MS spoiler with the lip set on the front. I have always referred to it as a mini ms spoiler for this reason. (chair)

Ill try and get some shots of teh gap, I am thinking if it is all black you may not even notice the gap we will see.

The front bumper is more square, and teh radiator support is also different as to accommodate for the projector J-spec headlights.

When you compare the two car (specially when you own an Aspec it sometimes makes you wonder WTF is going wrong in north America.:bs:

Wait the jspec projector headlights aren't a direct swap? Maybe it's a good thing my friend totalled her 93 LS before she bought those haha. I'm guessing the euro one is just like the aspec?

Well I got it installed and there appears to be VERY little gap on the sides I am very impressed with it. (birthday)

If you swap J's into an A you have to cut the A rad support. E-specs are a direct swap but if you get those be sure to get the corners as well. They are the same design as the A-specs in the way there is 4 pieced total. E-spec wiring is also A HUGE b****. They are rare even in Europe.

Sorry guys ill have them tomorrow for sure. I was so busy today getting wheels all on and painting the PGT wheels Graphite. They turned out so nice I cant believe I did them omg. Ill be sure to have pics tomorrow. It will look kinda dumb as the front i jacked up in the air, maybe Ill lower it to see where it is relative tot he ground.

Update

well here is a picture. The fitment in my opinion is about 95% perfect. Ill be taking it off today and painting it black. HAHA the white just isn't flowing.(sleep)

A sneak peak of the ol grl. I broke my ps/wp tension er pulley so she is down for a bit more. Plus i was sent the wrong WP but not the shippers fault the mx-6 used 2 different ones oddly enough. There is little information out about it.

Couple pictures It is very dirty its been down for like 2 weeks Oh and it looks high because its sitting on a little hill sry I have to explain why it looks dumb. (drunk)

Mike....that thing is looking reall REAL good man. Those red sidemarkers look a lot better than the clear ones. But aren't your wheels the same color as they are on your sig? I thought you were "going" to paint them? But none the less, the car is looking awesome man.

No ed these are much darker now as the other ones were a lighter bronze in the un, its hard to tell on teh comp ill get good pic up soon as I get her in order.
