is this the early model with threads, or is it the later quarter turn version?

I believe it is the early version. It's one solid piece of aluminum. Threads into the block until it stops.

Its the earlier spin on style. The later 1/4 turn version has the oil weight stamped on the front along with the "MazdaSpeed".
