Mazdaspeed 6 turbo

i was reading on mazdausa.com and it gave the engine specs of the coming mazdaspeed 6. it sports the same 2.3 as in most of our 3's but it comes turbocharged puttin out 274 hp. i was just wondering, is mazda gonna offer the turbo kit as an option to buy for our cars so that way we can buy through mazda without voiding our warranties?

i dont think that ever happened with our proteges (protege LX-EX, protege5, mp3, msp.) so i doubt it. that would be cool though for you 2.3 liter owners.

No (not as a factory accessory or option). You'll have to buy a Mazdaspeed3 (details soon), or go aftermarket (see other threads here).

Like mp5typer said, the MS6 has direct injection, and the only way to get a turbo is by buying a MS3 or going aftermarket. But it couldn't hurt to email Mazda 5 times a day begging them.

even if someone were to buy it from dealer if it was offered, would the dealer customize it to fit??

If it was actually offered, it would come as a complete kit and wouldn't require customization.

The chances of it actually being offered are about zero, though.

They aren't going to offer it. Mazdasports offered a partial msp turbo kit but the cost was far greater than an aftermarket. And that was most decidedly without any warranty. Mazdaspeed isn't mopar and Mopar goodies void the warranty anyway.
Wait for a wrecked one and strip it. Or go aftermarket.
