EVO isn't in the same class as the MS6. It's more along lines with the Subie Legacy GT turbo

The way the Mazda rep was continually comparing the EVO and STI to the MS6, you would think it was, or Mazda is intending it to be. Even though it seems like the MS6 will be way more refined than either the STI or EVO, they are targeting the performance specs to directly compete with these two.(rockon)

I love my sisters Mazda6 and drive it any chance I can get. That MS6 will be totally jet and I'm seriously looking at buying one in about 2 years.

I don't understand how anyone could say that the Mazda3 is ugly, the sedan looks very good and I love the hatch...it has a very Euro (part Alpha 147 part Pugeout) look. But yeah a speed edition is way down the line. Don't see why Mazdaspeed can't be like AMG and produce several variations simultaneously.

Correction: the official word from Mazda is "the fastest best handling SEDAN." Not car. I highly doubt it would outhandle a Miata or RX-8 regardless of AWD. One thing to remember is that it's basically a super FWD setup. In other words it stays in FWD configuration 90% of the time, and only transfers power to the rear wheels when it detects slippage. Still looks like a really nice car though...sometimes I wonder if I should have waited a few months and picked it up instead of the RX-8. But then I slap myself.
