Mazdaspeed 3 options!!! questions??

Ok, I have to ask those that know better than I do about this. Although I have been researching this car for about a year now before I got one.
I have a 07 speed3 GT, got it used with 23k on it. (love this little car)
But to my point, I recently took it to a dealer to see why my auto lights and wipers were not working. The wipers I was pretty sure why they arent working, the sensor is gone off of the windshield. No big deal, idiot who owned it got his windshield broken and failed to keep the sensor to have put on the new glass. Which is also what the service guys and mazda also explained. No problem, when it breaks again I'll get it fixed! (Live in Colorado, happens to a lot of windshields out here)
But,... to my question??? The dealer told me my car should not have came with the auto wipers and DRL (auto lights) and that the controlles in my car should not be there!! huh??? To my understanding the GT comes stock with this on it and is NOT an option!! And even if it was an option, why would the original buyer pay for a sirius radio system, but opt out for standard equipment. Long story short, the tech's at mazda are saying they are not going to fix it (my lights that is) because my car souldn't have came with them.
Has ANYONE here ever herd of the GT's coming in different trim levels?????
thought your only option was sport, or the GT.... Any info would help. Feel im getting the runaround by a bunch of lazy SOB's

I have an 07 speed3 GT and I have them. I still have my dealer tag, give me a moment to get it out of my glovebox and scan over it..I am sure that is what set the gt apart; auto headlights, led tails, auto wiper, and navigation optional...

Thats what I thought also!! these guys are realy starting to tick me off!!
and thanks for the response, im looking for any info I can take to them tomorrow when I pick up my car

Mazdaspeed 3 only comes with Sport and GT trims. The windshield sensor only comes with GT and it is NOT an option. The ONLY option for both trims is Navigation system.

you can tell the difference by looking at your seat if it is leather, factory HID, led taillights, bose sound system and some other stuff, then it is GT trim.

sport can not get navigation....at least not from what I checked. I will check after I get off the pooper ...give me a sec.

I know this a GT, seats, lights ..... VIN all tell me its a GT also the bose system ;) I use my auto lights plenty, just got used to them from previouse cars i've owned. I think Im just more ticked off about the guys at the dealer trying to bait me with there line of crap!!

you have to remember that most techs are complete idiots.
take it to another dealer.
or take it back to the same dealer, ona different day. maybe youll get lucky and get someone who isnt a complete waste of life.

Mazda Of Lakewood is the closest one, next is about a 35min drive...... but I'll see about getting that time down :)
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything before I give these SOB's an ear full!!!!

reading from the sheet:
standard equipment
Automatic on/off Xenon lights
Rain Sensing Front Wipers
Clear lens LED Taillights
Trip Computer
anti theft engine imobilizer
Mazdaspeed3 unique leather and cloth seats and carpet floor mats

Isn't it true that in 07 there was a Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring??? Then with the 08.5's they made it only Sport and Grand Touring...right?

But find a different dealer to service at! Those guys are morons. (smash)

Im gonna go with the VIN on this, got the carfax from the dealer I got the car from. List's as a Grand Touring, think the tech's just need to stop being so lazy with warrenty work.

nope there is only sport and gt. there has never been anything else.
Really? Because I specifically remember when I was researching for a car that the Speeds had 3 trim levels and when they rolled over some model year they lost a trim level and only went to Sport and GT.

Maybe you are remembering incorrectly? There was options on the GT model. In other words, you could get a sport, a GT w/o nav and a GT with nav. Maybe that is what you are thinking but there is no MS3 "T" only Sport and GT
