Dear Ben,

Thank you for contacting Mazda North American Operations. I appreciate
the opportunity to respond to you.

Mazda strives to build vehicles that are economical, reliable and safe.
It certainly sounds as though your Mazda MP3 has exceeded those
expectations!

You've inquired about a club for Mazda MP3 owners. At this time, Mazda
isn't sponsoring an MP3 club. Yet, it may be something that Mazda
considers for the future.

Consumer feedback is very important to Mazda and your comments have
been
documented for our corporate record. We continuously evaluate these
records as part of our ongoing commitment to provide only the highest
quality products and services to our customers.

I have also forwarded a copy of your comments to the responsible
department. We appreciate your feedback, and be sure to check back with
us periodically to see if we've added any new club information on
either www.MazdaUSA.com or www.MyMazda.com.

We hope that you enjoy many pleasurable miles driving in your Mazda
MP3.
Welcome to the Mazda family!

Again, thank you for contacting Mazda. It has been my pleasure to
assist you. If for any reason this response has not completely
satisfied you, please feel free to reply to this message. You may also

I think this is good news. Sounds to me like in order to have Mazda sponsor a national meet for MP3/p5's there has to be a Mazda sponsored club like the RX-7's and the Miata's have. So this proves that Mazda is definately going to lookinto it if you all will email them and show interest. IF YOU HAVEN'T EMAILED THEM YET, PLEASE DO IT TODAY,...PLEASE!!!! Let's show them the interest they ask for in a big way!

You know I like to be a realist. Right now, this realistically won't happen. I still say that you should send letters, so they know you are there but come on. There are only 1500 MP3s out there. Compared to other cars, that isn't many. I really do believe that they will have a group in the future. This car is a tuner's car and many enthusiasts will be behind it, but don't expect much from mazda right now.

Hate to ruin your day if any of you had your hopes up for this.

Damn, its the same thing i got from mazda but i received it from them back on 10/15/01.
She just changed protege5 to mp3. Here is what i got from jennifer 2 months ago:

I got the same response from them today as well...word for word....I do think if enough people email them it will put the bug in their ear....I also think though that we will likely have to set most of this up on our own...I have a feeling Mazda NA wont set it up but if we get numbers and people interested and plan a good amount of it that theyll get involved once dates and places are set with events/whatever the heck else we would have there....am I making any sense?

I think they have a form letter that covers just about every situation...Ask something screwy and see if you don't get the same style letter.

That letter sounds about the same as the one I got back asking about a new MP3, the Z919 issue, and just about anything else I've asked them...

Same as in "Sorry we can't/won't/don't have/want to help you in anyway, but the letter has been forwarded to a black abyss of an e-mail system that ends up being just as a nnoying as the phone...Thanks for your interest, fill out this evaluation form bye..."

Or something like that.
