Has anyone heard when they will be back at dealers? My dealer said the Mazda Mazdaspeed3 CAI was discontinued last year but expected in to be re-released soon...anyone know anything further?

Don't count on MSCAI being sold anytime soon.

Even if it was on sale again, I'd epect between 350-400 only because its an MS brand.

AEM makes the Mazdaspeed CAI. Just get the AEM CAI w/ the air straightener and you'll have the exact same thing.

Yep my guess is they wont release it for a while. It would be the same price as the old one i would assume so like 300-350. Then add another 100 to have it installed by a certified dealer. Big rip off. Just by an aftermarket one. Install it/ remove it yourself. Most come with instructions and it only takes me 20 min tops. Basically remove the stock airbox . . . unplug a few things . . . place the CAI . . . done. The only pain is removing the splasguard / drivers side wheel.

That's what I'm saying. If the MS CAI ever comes back, it will likely have the air straightener this time around. Instead of waiting, just get an AEM and the air straightener.

I dont see the MSCAI coming back either. Since they dont make our cars any more why would they bother. They figure the after market world will do the trick. Maybe the 2011 MS3 will get a SRI or something cool. ROTFL!

I was at the dealer the other day and the service manager was of the impression the MS CAI would be coming back out.

Eh, mind games. You think its coming back out so you dont buy an aftermarket one and you wait. Then, if it does you are in there getting one. If it doesnt, you have waited all this time and could have gotten the AEM or the Injen.
