I wonder if can we swap out HVAC unit from the 6 since it looks like a direct fit. I prefer the white backlight on the console to match the rest of the dash.
LOL.... I'm gonna be making some calls next week. I'm also wondering if you need to replace the steering wheel seeing as the lights are also white OR if you can just open the sides and change out just the "bulbs or leds"? http://www.partswebsite.com/mazdawh...lision=1&items=none&image=5470285&catid=30166 . I know its all visual but the white and orange together just don't match.
The orange does just look "wrong", I agree. It would be nice if this was an easy/cheap replacement of just the lights, but somehow I doubt this is possible on the cheap.
I am more interested in finding out whether or not the door window and lock switches are plug and play between the CX-5 and the Mazda6. The fact that the CX-5 comes with one (dimly) lit switch for only the driver window is absurd.
