Ever notice how many cars in Texas have cracked windshields from the difference in temperature between the outside and inside, or the hail damage?

Late to the thread, but oh well..the 5 is pretty useless in snow/ice, so we just parked it for the week that we had snow here:

We did end up with an amusing "antenna skeleton" as the snow melted off the roof of the 5:

You people have garages. How come the cars aren't inside? I haven't scraped a window in years due to my garage. Even frosty days are just a get in and drive event.

Yeah, I do have a garage, it's a detached garage built in 1910, when the house was built. It's more built for a 134" x 66" Model T, than a 181"x69" Mazda5 with modern swing out doors.
