No pressure (until the very end when they pressed for the lo-jack and extended warranty - different sales guy though), did all they could to help us get financing and gave us the best price without messing around.

c) Hopefully the baby seat fits in it ;-). And better reputation/resale value.

Scion xB, Kia Rondo, VW Jetta TDI Sportwagen, Mazda3, Honda Fit, Suzuki SX4 crossover. Probably would have bought the xB.

3. It's a compromise between a good looking car and a people hauler.
6. If you could change three things about the Mazda5 and/or the options avaliable for it, what would they be?
1. Orientation of the rear light set. It looks a bit awkward being on the top half of the backside.

2. Interior configuration and cargo capacity
3. The deal we were able to get

6. If you could change three things about the Mazda5 and/or the options avaliable for it, what would they be?
1. More leg room in the front seats. I understand why the amount of space is what it is, but you asked what I would change!
2. Bluetooth and info center option on all models.
3. Manual tranny option for all models (even though we were shopping for the auto, I don't get why they don't offer this?)

7. Do you plan to make any modifications?
Other than tinting the windows no, but we'll see once we get further into ownership.

8. Have you seen any other Mazda5s on the road yet?
Yes, but very few. Even though the 5 is 4 model years into the US market, I still don't see a lot of them.

9. What kind of reactions have you received from others on your new Mazda5?
So far the response has been great. A lot of "Wow that's a cool car, but I don't know if I would buy one." People are still unsure about the design.

10. So, is the Mazda5 a MAV, a minivan, a space wagon, a microvan, crossover, toaster oven or what?
All these terms are BS marketing tags to try to sell to US consumers who are afraid they might not be cool because of what they drive. (attn)

It's a well-designed, practical family wagon.

11. What question did I forget to ask?
On a scale of 1-10, where do you rate the 5 in overall satisfaction?
I would give it an 8 so far.

Keep this in mind when reading my answers... we've only had the car for a week and I've only driven it once for about 4 miles (not including a couple of test drives). We haven't even had to fill it up yet!
