Mazda3 Protege Seats

Does anyone know if the rear seats from Mazda3 will fit in a 99 protege?

I am wondering if the speed3 or 6 front seats would fit in a P5, probably with some modification of coarse. I love those seats

iam pretty sure the front seats will work. I read somewhere, the rear seats for a P5 will fit into the 3rd gen protege. Then i saw some seats for the mazda3 the other day and they look like the same as the P5. If this is true then i should be able to fit them into my '99 protege. Only one person here said they won't. So i guess i might call the dealer, and see if the part #'s match.

i can tell you right now the part numbers do not match and the seats will not bolt right in
