Yeah, I was a little worried about the resolution, but the gauges are easily readable, and when I get Magden to get a color that matches our interior better, they should look even better. I cant imagine a dvd would look very good on it though. I will know about the Nav in a couple of months, and let everyone know how it looks. What I would really like to know, or find out is how easy,or hard it would be to replace the lcd it comes with one that is better quality. Someday maybe !!

I have been e-mailing Denise who is also a member on here. She works for Car Advanced. She said the screen is not replacible and they have no plans to update the screen. I assumed because it's a factory replica, but they just have zero plans to update the screen. And she claimed there is no way to replace the screen with a better one. THAT sucks. Because i'd totally spend the money if the screen quality were better.

would a 7" android tablet screen fit the stock 08 GT pop up screen location? Gut it and just wire the tablet up. Ive seen that top piece with no nav removed and there seems to only be the well between the ducts and everything thats involved is in the pop up itself. That nav is not real good and a touch screen tablet would be great there, load up an OBD2 app and have custom gauges. Port the sound out to the aux in in the console.
