Yah, if you're from south of the border it doesn't seem to work out in your favour to order from Mopac or other Canadian suppliers, I suppose (You would have to pay duty on that item as it goes south, even though it's been paid once coming up here).

For us, buying it from the US at 189$USD + shipping at 39$USD + duty/brokerage fees at ~13% = 257$USD or about 333$CAD. Add Federal and Provincial sales taxes (British Columbia rate) and we're paying 381$CAD.

If we buy it from Mopac (or some other retailer within the country) for 276$CAD, add those same taxes , it works out to 316$CAD or 326$CAD shipped if it can't be picked up from one of their stores.

(blah) Anyways, it works out to be a difference of around 65 of our hard-earned (hardly-earned?) dollars, plus less chance of that infamous Cross-Border Shipping Hassle that I've run into more than once. (dunno) Just trying to save my compatriots a few bux!
