Mazda3 Door Sills / Scuff Plates

Is Mazda going to release scuff plates as an accessory for the US or do I have to purchase aftermarket ones? Not sure why they haven't thought of something so essential for a car, that it's not offered boggles my mind. Reading other threads, seems like a popular thing to get. If Mazda is reading my post, they need to make this accessory. It's a no-brainer.

I've checked on Ebay, and this website for JDM/OEM 2010+ scuff plates. There we're some I liked but prefer to go with non-LED. I want to keep the OEM look, but I can settle for aftermarket if that's the case.

Be careful what you buy - I know of someone who bought scuff plates for his 3 from eBay and said the quality was so terrible, he just threw them in the trash. The ones you linked to look very nice, but $108 is too expensive of a gamble for my taste.
