Mazda2 Suspension Parts vs. Fiesta's

Well I know the bilstein coilovers are the same part # for the Fiesta or the 2 so I'd assume the mounts are the same or similar...

I have the Bilsteins. They work well.

A Fiesta front bar is much larger than OEM M2.

It has been suggested that the Fiesta Sport Suspension is the OEM M2 suspension.

Corksport and Racing Beat have sway bars of different sizes.

I'm headed to a Fiesta front bar and a BIG home made rear bar.

Would be interesting to see if the 2nd set of HRs for the Fiest would offer a little bit of extra lowering for a 2...

The fiesta springs will not fit the front Mazda 2 Struts, we tried. The coil over should work fine since they replace both the strut and spring.

Thanks I was really loosing sleep thinking that I could have ordered the Fiesta's instead of the 2's.

The only thing I would wonder about is the valving of the shocks/struts of the Fiesta kit. For 290, that's a heck of a deal and could even be paired with some Fiesta Eibach or H&R springs if the 1/2" front and 1" rear drop wasn't enough. My only question about the setup is, since there's around 250lbs, give or take, will the valving of these be set for a heavier car causing a harsher ride? I'm no engineer but I've put suspension kits on enough cars to know when I don't like how something is setup.

I am guessing it would be pretty firm. Hop on to a Fiesta forum and ask them how the ride is. If it is a little soft then it would probably pretty good in a 2.

I thought that Ford Street Racing package was just the OEM Mazda 2 suspension? Doesn't look any beefier than what we have already.
