Mazda2/Demio replacement will ride atop shortened CX-5 platorm.

Hi everyone,

I wasn't sure if anybody else had seen this, but Just-Auto.com is reporting that the next Mazda2/Demio (or whatever it's replacement will be called) will use a shortened version of the CX-5's platform.

Also, it is reported that Mazda will switch to a four-year life-cycle for all of it's vehicles built off this platform. It is unclear whether or not the next MX-5 Miata will follow this rule, though, as it will use a platform shared with Alfa Romeo.

Just thought everyone would like to know...
