check your cars morrow. where the bpv goes to the nipple on the end is glued on.

And no i didn't buy mine used, my car had 12miles on the odo.
Glue this, glue that...ITS NOT GLUE!!! Its EPOXY!!! And epoxy is normal for car companies to use. Even BMW's have it. How do I how? I've seen it put together.

Doesn't matter anyway, these cars where made to be stock performance cars in turns. In other words it was made to be a decent autocross/road race car from the factory. Things have to be cheap for less than $25k.

Yea i like the sound of the Subway STI's !!!!!! Lets all go subway STI's !!!!!
Did i mention the ......... (yupnope)

you all paid a good price for one of the best handling fwd cars out there. It has better styling than the competition and even comes with all sorts of genuine aftermarket parts. The 170hp is nothing too special, which is IMO why they designed the car to run so rich, so people who want to go faster (without warranty) are free to do so by adding more boost, those who dont can still run a respectable q/m for stock and have a great all around car. So the bushings break, thats what the warranty is for. Why would you say they suck?

Actually stuff like that is a big misconseption, they suck just as much if not more than ours. My girlfriend has a c230 and it TERRIBLE something breaks every month. Powertrain is fine (slow but fine) but all their cool gadgets just break on you. Total waiste of 35k. Anyway I looove the MSP super good buy. Don't b**** about freakin glue you got a 7 sec 0-60 sweet lookin car for under 20k atleast.

You are talking about the cheapest car made by mercedes - and you are suprised that stuff breaks???

What did you expect when a luxury car manufacturer creates a bargain minded car?

I do agree with you about the "Total waiste" of 35k though. You could have bought several much arguably better cars. I keep looking at the new Pontiac GTO. My car will be paid off in 4 months, then I'm saving for the next one. This time, I'm looking in the 25k-35k price range.

Also - about the windsheild on the MSP, I believe the problem has to do with body flex induced by the stiffer suspension setup. The Protege was designed to be a good cheap little car - and that it is.
