If nav comes with the vechile you get 3 years; if you buy it separately as an accessory, you get lifetime updates

So where did you find that documented?

That means for 2020, the high-end Signature (which comes with the NAV) gets 3 years of updates, while the NAV for all the lesser trims (if you opt to purchase it) are lifetime updates.

I guess it's possible. I mean, it's Mazda. But I can find nothing on this issue on their website.
