MAZDA screwed up my rims.

i want to hear what the owner of the dealership said to explain why the boost gauge was pinned at 21 after you reset it, ESP if they were only touching up the wheels... there is NO f***ing need for that

Ok the car went in before the holiday weekend and I got it back tonight (wed). The dash cover is ok but now my a pillar is messed up and I have no heat in the car. The rims look ok from a few feet away, but there are runs and dimples on all of the damaged sections still. The texture is gross, they are so rough and uneven. I will be telling them to cough up 1700 bucks or new rims now. The icing on the cake is the 48 miles the guys put on my car. I also reset the memory on the boost gauge and it was pinned at 21. So someone beat the hell out of my car. Word can't describe my anger. I don't want the car anymore I'm so fed up. People suck, owning cars suck cuz people $hit all over yer stuff. F wayne mazda hard. I'm totally calling mazda na now but I don't even know if I can express the whole story with out entering a fit of rage (28 days later style)


Edit: I went to put yellow tint on the fog lights and they crashed my bumper up on a curb too. God I'm gunna die I can't explain this but someone is going to get a huge earful from me!!!

Where in Jersey are you? It says Atown but I cant think of what that is. If you are close to the Trenton area you can start taking your car to a dealership near me. I used to work there and my brother currently works there. He is an amazing body/paint guy and he knows the best guys to get s*** fixed at his work. (obviously there are some excellent guys and then theres always the shop "idiot" or "idiots" who dont know jack)

I suggest that you call the dealership and request to speak with either the owner or GM. State your case and express your dissatisfaction with both their attempt to repair your wheels and blatant abuse of your car while it was in for the repair. Let them know that you expect nothing less than full reimbursement for the wheels.

Maintain your head at all times no matter what. If you don't get anywhere follow up your call with a certified demand letter, restating the problem and how you want it resolved. Also state the time frame in which you want it resolved. Let them know that your next course of action will be to pursue resolving it within the court system.

Stay on them and don't give up.

I don't think another dealer will fix what they have damaged. I'll be switching as soon as they make good on all the things that they have screwed up. If you can imagine this they had the passanger wiper arm off of the car and scratched that and the cowl panel as well. The dash must really be burried and mounted strong as hell. I appreciate the support it make me feel 1000 times less crazy so thanks every one and I'll try to post up the results tomorrow.

P.s. The mythbusters tv show totally busted that pissing in a gas tank thing!!!!

I spoke with the real service manager today (not the assistant from last time I guess) and he was understanding. He said he would resolve everything I have addresed. Time will tell but I left my keys there again. This time I predict the car will spontanously catch flames and burn the dealership down with everyone who has screwed up my car inside. I mean they can't make it anyworse can they?

good luck with everything man. This is the one reason i don't like taking my car to dealers, u can trust the bosses their but they really have no control to prevent their mechanics from beating on a car, they can only react to what they do. Hopefully someone at the dealership got severely punished for this and you get compensated.

i got an oil change from my dealership and for some reason the filter was still stock and so was one of the seals......maybe they use them twice......sppphhhhh. fuckers. 45 dollars and only half an oil change later they can suck my bologna pony. (blowjob) ill never go to the dealership again unless its a recall and i have to.

yeah me and mr webb here bought are cars from the same dealership and the same thing happened with my speed 6.. i dont even care if its a recall ill go and get the parts and do it myslef, im never returning there after last weekend.. walked in got in an arguement with the service manager.. which was pointless.. they looked at my car, saw the front mount.. he said we have to viod ur warrenty now cuz u changed a major engine component of the car, i told him ya and im changing the engine too and i walked out and left.. eat that sentry west mazda...

They can't void your warranty last I heard. They can only deny the claim if something you changed screwes up the warranted item. Just go to a new dealer when a warranty issue arises.

well not legaly they cant void it because i never made claim to have anything fixed.. he said they voided it but i still believe that if i went to another dealer theyd say i still have it... i rlly could care less if i do or not.. everything is being changed on it front to back performance wise.

Ok well the car is back. Something like 21 days later but it looks good again. Brand new rims and all the stuff that was scuffed and scratched. I can't wait to install my waiting parts now.
