Long story short, Mazda motor mount recall done, they screw up the alignment. Yesterday I had the alignment done. The tech used the in the rim style mount instead of the over the rim style. So now each 400+ dollar Mazdaspeed rim has 4 little gouged dimples in the lip. You can see a pull in the aluminum from the weight of the alignment head and a little ball of shaved aluminum at the outer edge. This is accompanied by a few scratches on the face of the lip also from when he pressed the head against the rim. When I worked in a dealer I had a million people complain when I screwed something up. Am I being to picky? I guess I'm just super pissed because the last time the car went in for warranty stuff it had 5 complaints and they did a 4 mile road test and they found nothing. Yesterday 2 techs went out in my car and drove 10 miles for a simple alignment. So do I demand 4 new rims? One new rim as a spare? Piss in the owners gas tank Or just fire bomb the place to the gound?

Agreed. They'll dodge and weave all they can about the issue, but pin them to the damned wall. They charged you that much for the rims in the first place, and then their idiocy ****** it up. Screw 'em.

they should replace them. When i bought my MSP and had them do my first free oil change they also cleaned the car for me. Unfortunately the retard that washed it didnt know not to use certain chemicals on the wheels due to the gunmetal finish. When i got home i noticed they looked whered and sure enough, the finish looked "burned" and awful.
The car was 2 weeks old so i promtly called my sales person and let him know what they did, when in and they inspected them and sure enough they were trashed...so they ordered 4 brand new rims for me and installed them...

I'd give them a shot with the Rim Guy first. If they do not come out perfect, un load on 'em until they make it right.

Ok to add insult to injury I haven't even gotten my rims fixed yet and I just found a ton of scratches on the dash cover from the last time my car was in for service. The dash to windshield seal foam popped up and the f*cking monkey used a screw drive to stab it down. He scratched the dash 19 times. I am so pissed I don't even think I know enough curse words or will even use my free oil change coupons anymore. Simple as this WAYNE MAZDA sucks spread the word.

Ok the car went in before the holiday weekend and I got it back tonight (wed). The dash cover is ok but now my a pillar is messed up and I have no heat in the car. The rims look ok from a few feet away, but there are runs and dimples on all of the damaged sections still. The texture is gross, they are so rough and uneven. I will be telling them to cough up 1700 bucks or new rims now. The icing on the cake is the 48 miles the guys put on my car. I also reset the memory on the boost gauge and it was pinned at 21. So someone beat the hell out of my car. Word can't describe my anger. I don't want the car anymore I'm so fed up. People suck, owning cars suck cuz people $hit all over yer stuff. F wayne mazda hard. I'm totally calling mazda na now but I don't even know if I can express the whole story with out entering a fit of rage (28 days later style)
Edit: I went to put yellow tint on the fog lights and they crashed my bumper up on a curb too. God I'm gunna die I can't explain this but someone is going to get a huge earful from me!!!

Address all the concerns with the highest person at the dealership, demand to have them all fixed correctly for the last time or you call the BBB. If they still **** it up call BBB and Mazda corporate and complain. The most important thing to learn is after this is all done STOP GOING BACK TO THAT DEALER!
