Mazda Protege Rear Sway Bar Bushing Upgrade

those look to be maybe for a stock protege. not a mazdaspeed. with the racing beat RSB

oh okay, wasnt absolutely sure. I replaced bushings to new urethane ones, and the clunk has been fixed, but 2 weeks after greasing the squeaking comes back -.-

go on cr3motorsports.com i think he has the correct energy suspension bushings we need. or u can look go on energy suspension website directly. i think our rear sway bar is a 21mm. or 19mm dont really remember correctly

I used marine grade grease and it lasted about a year before it started making noise again. I need to lube them again but it only squeaks on some bumps. Urethane bushings have less play than rubber and typically last longer, you want them.

a urethane bushing will last longer than a rubber bushing, but they will also squeak and bind if not lubricated properly and regularly. a urethane bushing can also be stiffer than a rubber bushing, which will provide better feedback to the driver. its a trade off. rubber is better from an OEM perspective, and urethane can be "better" from a performance perspective.
