Hey that bumper looks familar!

idk about the brake lights, looks like you're covering 90% of the brake light area (boom02)

Here's a couple of shot I took from my protege a couple weeks ago. The pics are not the best ones I ever shot and the spot is far from being nice. I have a couple of detail on the exterior to fix a soon as possible...

Let me know what you guys think.

nice car, but those tails are ugly, get rid of them

All that body work makes the height and wheels stand out like a sore thumb. lol

In the mp3 thread, he said he moved the brake light into the lower section where the parking light is

I too had thought about doing the same exact thing, until I mocked it up with masking tape. The tail light sticks out from the body too much so it still stands out, painted or not unlike a flush tail light would.

For being "baller" coilovers, they have a very crap design. Doesn't even look like u can remove a spanner due to the endlink tab. I say just get fatter tires when the time comes ;)

hmm, well why paint it like that still, it doesnt follow the body line at all and doest really match up with anything...

I know. I shouldn't have let the body shop decide what they thought would look good. I don't think the guy looked at the body lines before painting. They were off the vehicle when he did it and must've just picked a line and gone for it. I've wanted to paint the tails for a long time, always thought they were too big for the rear of the protege. I did it myself on my 00 pro and lined it up to the crease in the trunk and on the rear quarters. Oh well, that's what happens when you don't tell someone exactly what you want.

Little update today, I removed the front Coilover's today and I parted them and I found the way to remove rings. You can remove the base from the body of the C/O... It's screwed, so I removed 1 ring (from the bottom :p) and drop a bite the body into the base a bit more.

I can't drop it lower cuz it will touch my drive shaft so it's no good

But still it's lower :D I just have to ajust the camber now...

^Looks good. What coilovers are those?

Thx! JIC Magic FL-TAR.

I don't wan't to go lower cuz then the Handling is gonna be a problem and I'm planning to do some time attack/ lapping next summer so I gotta find the best hight and I think I found it.
