how can I get the intake manifold of a 1.5 vvt and will it fit the 2.0...

corksport and no it wont fit a 2.0L....however it WOULD fit a 1.6L...although I don't see where it would help

So the 1.5 VVT wouldn't be benefitial in replacing the 1.6 liter one? Like, its not "open" more and allows more airflow = yields more HP?

yep, very interesting, u can get the engine easily, its controlling the SVT that is hard, not worht the 30hp cause u have to get a stand alone to run it..

So about how much would this engine cost? What kind of standalone would best be suited to handle the VVT of the engine?

i couldnt own a sleeper, lol I like the hotness look, and stock i dont tink the protege has that look all too much, id get a sleeper with an integra.

i would still need a lip kit ... not a big fan of body kits but every car that i own will probably have a lip kit ... something subtle ... just to set it apart from the rest but not enough to stand out real crazy.

I thought my car looked really good stock... but of course I had to change some stuff :p

well the 99-00 series stock isnt very good, lol, Luckily i have the ES which came with stock rims rather than hub caps. the 01+ look better stock than the 99-00 stock

corksport sells the engine, I think they want like $2500 for it...you would need a standalone that can control the S-VT system, it is similar to the toyota VVT-i...so imagine you could see what they use on a celica forum.

Crappy camera pics sharpened with Picture it.

Krylon for Plastics w/ Crystal Clear. This is the second go around and this time I let it dry like 4 days before putting everything back in because I definately didn't want to do it again. This time I actually read the instructions in terms of drying in between coats. Came out perfect!

Thanks for the compliment and my baby thanks you too!
