I put replacement LED tail lights in my truck I had and they were way dimmer than regular lights, even at night. In the day they were just plain dangerous. Purpose build LED taillight housings may be different though.

Thanks guys! Glad to see some old mazda pals, hope all is well. In regard to the led bulbs, check out the new vled.com platinums, I heard they are brighter but pricey.

I read below about tire sizes, I run 205-45-r17. I used to run 205-40-17, and there is a huge difference in ride quality, 45s are much better. I wish I could go for 205-50-r17 but too high...
