mazda protege lx sleeper

there are a million ways to make a car faster. boost just may be the most cost effective, but there is no reason to bash na. after all it is more fun

mm i'm not bashing NA itself.. i'm bashin our engines NA lmao and nothin is more fun then boost tho.. once you had it it's like crack you always want it..

BOOST MY DRUG OF CHOICE.. lmao

trust me bro this engine will not be fast as an NA build even with allllllll that.. you MAYBE hit the 200whp mark.. maybe.. you can make over 200whp easy on the stock engine with boost.. this isn't like a v8 where all that makes a huge difference.. which is why no one bothers doing a na build..

unless you know of a build on a fsde that i never seen??

you've obviously never seen or heard of the speed challenge protege's? they were VERY competative, ran NA, and put out about 220hp or so.

Those were so bad ass but you have to admit that your regular joe doesn't have the amount of money needed to do something like that. Let alone be able to daily drive it.

double-not-to-mention that the engines required a rebuild after EVERY race, which is why mazda went to the mazda6 platform.

nope never but i bet that was a s*** ton of work/money just to make 220whp na.. not to mention thats probably as much power as it could handle

exactly as i stated in one of my previous post.. sure if you have alot of money and time but all that just to make around 200whp? not my cup of tea

that would suck

my point was that it can be done. not that it should be done, but that it CAN be done. you said that it couldn't be done.

i know i stated that already.. just 20hp off.. but like i said its pretty much pointless to dooo alll that just to only make 220.. and ontop of that it breaks after racing? kind of a waste imo

you make your power for about 3500 rpms, correct? imagine making all of that power for 7000.

But dependin on how you drive. Your rarely go under 3500rpm n if u do its just for a sec.. and like your doin to solve that problem is supercharger..

i just say save ya $, read up , build ya motor (if u wanna be fast) and boost it. Dont the fs blow up like 10psi? someone correct me if im wrong
