Nope, it was more of a luxury highway high speed cruiser than a sports car, they had the RX7 for that

No manual Cosmo from factory. But there are few track ready cosmos in Japan and Australia that are fitted with FD transmissions or other dog box type racing tranny. Personally, the stock tranny isn't bad with the hold button (FD RX7 Auto had one also). Some prefer Auto tranny.
