Hey did that guy ever answer the question of why he still has the beginning of the stock intake when he had a cai?

I left my stock intake housing on because of the big gap between the radiator and engine its like a big empty space. I also use it as a display prop at car shows for trophies, fliers and such works good. i dont have aftermarket headers yet so i not trying to hide crappy headers other then stock
 
that's why there's a heatshield on the stock manifold. You should take it off it doesn't look very good in there especially with the fake carbon fiber stickers on it.
