i might be able to come. it'd be the 21st if i did. not sure though i need to find a job for over the summer. haha
I've just come back to this forum and noticed the event. I'm somewhat familiar with Rough River State Park because I've been there, many times. I've never been to any of the outlying sites, like Northfork camp grounds. Some of my friends and I oftentimes fly to the park to have breakfast on weekends. I've camped at the site below the dam. Nice area. It's a good two hour drive from my home to the park, though. It's worth the trip. I'll keep your event in mind, even if I just come down for a while.

I can't say for certain, but I will definitely make the effort to be there. Also, if no one noticed it looks like OAC has planned their Thunder II meetup on a different day than the actual Thunder Over Louisville, which makes it all the more attractive: still get that Derby Festival feel without 800,000 non-driving morons to get in my way.

Won't be disappointed Rough River SP is one Kentucky's best Parks and lakes.
It is a great lake. Clean, good fishing, boating, and hiking.

I'll be there Saturday and or Sunday if I don't have to work. I might even camp Saturday night if there are any sites available. I can't make reservations due to not knowing until about mid week if I will have to work that week end. I live in KY so the park is an easy drive for me.

im pre-reserving a few campsites, @ least 3 sites at this time. might pick up a few more as interest & attendance pick up.

I know it's still a long ways off but it's been awful quite in here. WAKE UP EVERYONE its summer time.
I'm still planning on coming up Saturday but I'm not camping. I live close by and can drive back up Sunday if I want to.
How many cars are commited to come? How many People do you expect?
Like I said in an ealier post I can bring food.
