Mazda is linking to Protege Club but not to us. :wtf: Everyone in the Protege community knows that that site is full of assholes that do nothing but degrade you and talk smack about stuff they know nothing about. The moderators are more like Nazi's that will take your post off if you disagree with them or verbaly b**** slap them by proving them wrong about something they were claiming to know. I only say this because they have locked threads on me before. I think the mods on this site need to be contacting Mazda VERY soon to get them to link to this site. I agree 110% on the fact that ***Some of*** the mods on P.Club are complete a$$holes. Thats why I stopped hanging out there and joined this much much better site. I think we need to all write to mazda and let them know how we feel about thier slap in the face. :mad:

I think we should support all forums, businesses, etc that promote Mazda, and the Protege's especially. Investing $ into this forum by the users might hold more accountability by the admins, but compared to the heavyhandedness I have seen in other forums, I think both are pretty well run.

And calling Mazda to b**** them out or writing letters about the "slap in the face" might not be the most prudent thing to do. A professional response might be more in order. Chances are you will get a "oh.. we didn't realize, we will take care of it" from them if you are nice about it.

I will give you one thing....this forum has the feel more of a real car club....more friendly atmosphere.....and I can tell you...I have mentioned it to the guys on the other forum too......but don't judge the entire board based on the behavior of just a few.

I'm the admin on Pclub...am I an asshole? I don't post stupid bulls*** on pclub about peoples opinions and cars, and I know what you are talking about about a select few of the moderators who are always arguing and demeaning members acting like they are the god of car knowledge. I personally would LOVE to delete a couple of them from status of moderator but can't since I don't own the site or say whats goes.

Mazda needs to get http://protegenetwork.org on thier damn site too. I'll need to make some calls.

I started out over at protegeclub, then I found this place. Let me tell you some of the mods over there are real A holes! I think the last time I posted there was about 9-10 months ago for that reason. And I posted over there stating I vowed to never visit again.


oh yeah PseudoRealityX is one of the I am GOD! mods on that forum..........what a rat bastard. Thank god this place is not like the "other forum"

I frequent both boards, but post mainly on ProtegeClub because that's where the party started for me. This site does deserve some credit, though. Unlike ProtegeClub, someone will not get flamed for asking a simple question.

well, i'm not joe, and i'm not wil.. so i guess i'm a rat bastard mod too. good to know there's love from the other protege owners. boards are boards. i frequent that one, because it's where i started really getting into the boards after the e-group. i think it's funny as well, that some of our mods talk bad about us over here. oh well. i'm a big boy, i can handle it. who cares if they're linking pclub and not this? instead of whining about it and flaming pclub and the mods there, shoot off a friendly email to them and ask them to link you. would it make you all happier if i emailed them too and put in a good word for the people who are flaming the mods at pclub and the forum itself so you get linked too? my aim is skanzlost, and my email is protetype@attbi.com let me know.

I went out to the site and left some feedback on linking the site. I started here, and found the "other" site 2 months later. I have been a victim of the MODS over there before also. I just kept a kool head, and systematically calmed their asses down by being calm and professional. PsuedoRealityX. He is at the top of the list along with mazdaspeedwest. I still post over there, but not as often as here. I just try to avoid the BS, and have fun. I hope I can set a good example as a mod here.
